Article 15 of the Statute of the Għaqda Dilettanti Knisja ta’ Lapsi, San Ġiljan establishes that the ordinary administration of the voluntary organisation shall be entrusted to the Committee. The Committee’s primary role, though not its only one, is the management and allocation of funds raised through activities it organises. The Committee shall be composed of no fewer than three members and no more than eight members. The principal officers of the Committee, namely the President, the Secretary, and the Treasurer, shall be elected at the General Meeting. Other positions and their holders shall be decided at the first Committee meeting following the General Meeting. Elected Committee members shall serve for a period of three years and may continue to serve for similar periods as many times as they are re-elected. No person who is not a member of the voluntary organisation shall be eligible to be appointed as a Committee member.
